Extra dates added for The Flying Monk - 06/05/10

Soop have confirmed that they will be appearing at this year’s Abbeyfest, in Merton Abbey Mills, in late July. The Flying Monk will be appearing at this vibrant festival for three nights, from 16th - 28th July at 7.30pm. Tickets for these performances will cost £10 (£7.50 concessions). London and Ledbury Dates Announced - 17/02/10

THE FLYING MONK will be appearing at the Market Theatre, Ledbury on June 5th and the tour will end with a bang, thanks to teaming up with Giant Olive Theatre Company for a four week run in London, starting on 15th June. See Tour Dates for more details.

Dude, Where’s My Script? rides again - 05/12/09

OUR ACCLAIMED comedy impro show returns to kick off the festive season in hilarious fashion. Dude, Where’s My Script? will be appearing at The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre in Havant on Monday 7th December from 8pm. Tickets are £8 (£6.80 concessions), available here. Joining host Vincent Adams and his enigmatic assistant Boris (in suitably seasonal mood) this time will be Nathan Chapman, Alice Corrigan, Kathryn Kendall and Mark Wakeman. SOOP at The Spring Launch - 12/09/09

SOOP will be performing a handful of short shoe-based sketches specially commissioned for the launch of The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre, formally known as Havant Arts Centre. Soop is a Hampshire-based theatre company with a strong emphasis on creating original work in a physical style. Soop's first production was an adaptation of Gogol's short story, The Overcoat, which debuted at Havant Arts Centre (now The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre) in 2008 to critical and audience acclaim.

 

The company produces new theatre that combines traditional storytelling with a fresh physical approach, featuring ensemble performance, puppetry and music.

 

As well as new adaptations of classic texts, Soop devises original stories, encourages new writing and produces the live comedy improvisation show, Dude Where's My Script?
